Batman is incredibly friendly and affectionate. He expects love and attention — and he’s not shy about asking for it! If you happen to stop petting him (how dare you!), he’ll sweetly meow at you to remind you that your hands belong exactly where they were — on him. He thrives on affection and will happily soak up all the head scratches, back rubs, and loving words you have to offer.

This charming boy wants to be your sidekick, your couch companion, your shadow around the house. He’ll greet you, talk to you, and make sure you never feel alone. All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee. (Local adoptions only.) The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. A home inspection is required prior to all cat adoptions.

Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:

• A video of the inside of your home showing where the cat will be living, where his litter box, bowls, etc., will be placed
• Veterinary reference for previous and current pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations for your cats, and heartworm prevention and vaccinations for any dogs.
• If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions
