Juniper is a stunning 2-year-old black domestic short-hair with a big personality packed into a petite, loving frame. Found as a stray just after a snowstorm, it was clear right away that this sweet girl once belonged to someone—she’s incredibly friendly, well-mannered, and completely comfortable in a home. Sadly, no one came forward to claim her, but now she’s ready for a fresh start with a forever family who will truly cherish her.

Juniper is the perfect mix of snuggly, playful, and independent. She absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give—but she also enjoys doing her own thing, confidently roaming the house like she owns it (because, in her mind, she does!). Whether she’s perched by the door watching the world go by or curled up nearby, she always likes to be part of the action.

One of Juniper’s most charming traits? She’s quite the conversationalist! She loves to meow and “tell you about her day,” making her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys a chatty, interactive kitty.

She’s also proven to be wonderfully adaptable—currently living with a large dog, she is gentle, respectful, and completely at ease, even allowing curious pups to approach and sniff her. Because of her easygoing nature, she would likely do well with adults and cat-savvy or considerate older children. (Her compatibility with other cats is still unknown.)

Juniper is a polite housemate, too—she’s litter box trained, has a healthy appetite, and uses her scratching post like a pro. She enjoys cozying up on a bedroom chair for naps, but don’t be surprised if she occasionally decides your keyboard is the best seat in the house—she just wants to be close to you (and will kindly move along once she realizes you’re busy!).

Juniper is truly a loving, well-rounded companion who’s ready to fill a home with affection, personality, and a little bit of sass.
