Sylvia is a very friendly cat and loves attention, but may take a bit to get settled into her new environment. Sylvia ended up in the southern shelter after being left outside to fend for herself after her owner was evicted from her home. She is very affectionate with people, but cats, not so much. She does not like other cats so she will need to be your only kitty. Because of the uncertainty and stress of being left outside, she may have a few times that she may be afraid of your hand coming towards her and hiss, but once she has time to settle in and learn to trust people again, she becomes very sweet.
Sylvia would do best in a quiet home with no dogs and no children.
