Blueberry is a gentle, observant little princess who is looking for a compassionate and patient family to call her own. After a difficult start to life outdoors with her brother Mo, she’s learned that the world can be safe—but she takes her time getting there. Blueberry is a cautious girl, thoughtfully taking everything in before deciding who and what she trusts.
With patience, she blossoms in the most rewarding ways. Once she feels safe, Blueberry becomes wonderfully affectionate and expressive. She’ll greet you with soft, chatty meows—especially when you come home or wake up—and happily let you know when it’s time for pets or a chat or for food/water. Mornings are one of her favourite times, as she’ll find you for a chat “telling” you all about her night while you get ready for the day.
Blueberry is deeply attuned to her people. If someone in the home isn’t feeling well, she takes on the role of carer —checking in, chatting gently, and encouraging others to come join her in keeping a caring watch. She has a lovely sweet way of looking after her family.
She loves being part of daily life, especially around mealtimes. Whether you’re cooking or eating, Blueberry will make her rounds to check in with everyone, politely requesting a pet or two, meowing and chirping to get your attention. She’s also a curious little “inspector,” carefully sniffing whatever’s on the menu—and if permitted, sneaking a tiny taste. You may even find her supervising your cooking, as though she’s doing a thorough safety check.
Blueberry adores catnip toys, string toys, and anything she can discover on her own so keep an eye on small items like puzzle pieces, as they may quickly become her newest treasure. Bird watching is her absolute favourite pastime. With the return of spring, she can spend hours perched at the window, chirping happily back at the birds outside. Blueberry also loves her cardboard scratching post, especially if some catnip has found its way there, she never claws elsewhere.
Blueberry builds trust slowly, so seeing her truly happy feels like a privilege but it’s one she gives generously to those who give her time and understanding. In return, she offers affection, companionship, and a quiet, thoughtful kind of love that makes every bit of patience worthwhile. She is a sweet, beautiful girl who will deeply enrich the right home.
Blueberry will do best in a quiet home and would be suitable for someone in an apartment or condo with a window view that will keep her entertained. She is good with other friendly cats.
