Hi there! My name is Greens, and I’m a 5-month-old, female, gray tabby kitten looking for a special place to call home. I’ll be honest - I’m a bit of a "wallflower" at first. I like to take my time getting to know new people from a safe distance, but don't let my shyness fool you - once I feel safe, my playful side comes out in full force! I absolutely love chasing toys and pouncing on anything that moves. You might notice a tiny spot on my eye - the doctors call it a corneal abrasion - but, it doesn't slow me down one bit! I can see everything perfectly, especially when it's time to find my favorite feather wand or a cozy sunbeam. If you’re looking for a gentle, patient companion who will reward your kindness with lots of purrs (once I've had a chance to warm up!), I might just be your perfect match. I'm ready to find a family that understands the best things in life - like me - are worth waiting for! I should be adopted with another age-appropriate kitten, may I suggest my sister, Burgoo? I have not met dogs or small children yet. I am spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV (negative/negative), and have my microchip. If you are interested in making me a part of your family, please click on the following link to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.purringheartsva.org and a volunteer will reach out to you within 72 hours. I hope to hear from my forever family soon!
