Marvin is a domestic shorthair white and brown tabby male who is approximately 8 months old. He is currently in foster care with his sister Mimi.
Marvin is a shy, sensitive boy who is still building his confidence and learning that the world isn't so scary. During the day, he prefers to stay tucked away in a cozy bed where he feels safe, and he's much more comfortable when things are calm and quiet. With a little encouragement, especially some food or a tube treat, he's willing to be brave and come out for short visits, and he is slowly starting to accept more pets, particularly when he's in a space where he feels secure like a box bed.
While he may be hesitant during the day, Marvin's playful side comes out at night. He loves exploring and playing alongside his sister, rubbing up against her as they run around together. He enjoys zooming through tunnels, scratching up his posts, and absolutely loves catnip; rolling, flipping, and getting wonderfully silly with it.
Marvin is making steady progress and recently reached a big milestone by sleeping out in the open for the first time on top of his cat scratcher. He also has the cutest, quiet little meow that reflects his gentle nature and will likely grow as his confidence does.
Marvin will need a patient, understanding home that can give him the time and space he needs to continue coming out of his shell. With that support, he is sure to blossom into a sweet and playful companion.
Marvin would love to go to a home with his sister Mimi. He would likely do well with another cat or dog friend, with a proper and slow introduction.
Marvin is n eutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. He is FIV and FeLV negative and on parasite preventions. His adoption fee is $300 or $550 as a pair with his sister Mimi. To apply, please submit an adoption application.
