Billie Holiday is a beautiful young adult black short haired cat, estimated to be about 1 to 2 years old, and the devoted matriarch of the Jazzy Kittens. Though she was a very young mama herself, she has been nothing short of extraordinary. Billie lovingly nurtured the five kittens she gave birth to, and also welcomed and raised two additional orphaned kittens who needed a mother. Her gentle, generous spirit truly shines.

Billie is incredibly loving and friendly with both adult and child foster humans. She greets her people by standing up tall and offering a sweet meow the moment they walk into the room, then happily approaches for scratches and pets. She thrives on affection and will absolutely want to be part of the action in her forever home.

In her foster home, the resident cat may growl and hiss out of jealousy, but Billie takes it all in stride and never responds with aggression. She has been around a dog and while she is not especially enthusiastic about canine companions, she is not fearful either. She would do well in a home with adults or kids, and potentially other pets, especially with proper introductions.

Billie is especially close to her daughter Ella Fitzgerald, and the two share a beautiful bond. The $175 adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, and a vet exam. Negative test for FIV and FeLV.
