Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Say Hello to Floyd Pepper! Floyd is a 2.5 year old, male tabby cat. Floyd Pepper is a charismatic, social, and loving cat. Floyd Pepper takes physical affection to a whole new level, he thinks human hands were made to give him head scratches and do nothing else. Floyd is a super brave and laid back guy. He is confident in all situations and not intimidated by kids, dogs, or other cat. Floyd Pepper is super down to play and would love to play a game of fetch.

Floyd's expressive eyes will captivate you into giving him all the love and attention, he wins people over instantly, whether he’s exploring new corners, or settling in for a cozy snuggle after a day of adventures. A social cat, Floyd is ready to be the star of someone’s life and would do great as a solo pet or being alongside other friendly pets.

Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.

ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
