Spruce was rescued in September 2024 from a hoarding case in Indiana, PA, along with 18 other cats, after their owner was hospitalized and they were left behind in unsafe conditions. Estimated to be between 5-8 years old, this handsome short-haired grey guy has been nothing but a sweetheart since day one.

Spruce is friendly, gentle, and affectionate. While he can be a bit shy at first, he warms up beautifully with a little time and patience. Once he's comfortable, he transforms into a full-blown love bug who just wants to be near his people. He's done great with the other cats in our care, and while we haven't tested him with dogs or kids yet, his sweet, laid-back nature suggests he'd do just fine with respectful companions of any kind.
