Personality types:
Project cat - Needs an experienced cat owner, plus a lot of patience and TLC.
A work in progress - You'll have to earn their trust, but it's worth it!
Voyeur - Watches from afar... so they can get to know you better.
Molly, the mom, is a very sweet girl who is cautious but loves to be pet. She spends the day cuddling with her daughter Madeline, hiding under the bed, or sitting in a window. She knows how to play, but prefers to play with her daughter or alone. She does not like to be picked up. She just needs lots of time and patience. She is fine with male and female cats, but does not like to be chased.
Madeline feels safest with her mother Molly. She stays hidden most of the day and comes out when she smells food or when everyone is asleep. She is extremely afraid of humans and should not be touched unless you are experienced with cats and their warning signs. She is just very scared and unsure of humans but will play with toys alone or with mom. She needs someone who is fine with a silent roommate who may never want to cuddle. It’s only been a few months but maybe with time she could become more affectionate but right now she growls when approached but will not scratch unless handled (picked up). Would do best in a quiet home with female pets and her mother.
Madeline is under a year old and Molly is around 1-2 years old. They are both spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.
