Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

A famous cat whisperer once said that of all the cats in the English speaking world, of all the endless combinations of doofus and tuxedo patterns, Cellar Door is the most beautiful.

While all of you were emptying the closest Wawa of their milk and bread or figuring out how many cones you needed for your Savsies claim, Cellar Door was hatching a long game plan to find a home leading up to that storm last month...she crawled into a random basement! Clever girl. They kept her for a couple of weeks before getting her placed at PAWS, which she has accepted as just the most stressful part of her genius plan. Once she gets a chance to be comfortable in her new space Cellar Door opens up a wide range of playful and cuddly antics!

Cellar Door would like to be the only cat in your home, as noted by her continued dislike of the cats she encountered in that home. She could also use a little help getting more comfortable and social, including with her nibbling habits, so a home without any young children would also be best for her as she figures out what this indoor life is all about. Depsite her young age, Cellar Door could use some attention paid to her dental health, which at minimum would be a cleaning in the near future with some potential extractions.

This cat is currently located at PAWS Old City Adoption Center located at 100 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. This location prioritizes appointments made by already approved applicants, but we can also accommodate browsers and walk-ins if and as our capacity allows.
