Carmen is a 4-year-old spayed female who originally came to ACCT as a stray in 2022. She later left but returned as a stray on 3/17/2026. A caller reported finding a cat in a bag. Animal Protection Officers arrived and found Carmen, who had no additional health concerns at the time of pickup.
While here, Carmen hasn't let her past affect her, she is super social and loves everyone she meets. This sweet girl is looking for a forever family that will give her all the love and attention she deserves. Are you ready to open your home and heart to this wonderful girl?

3/20 Per Staff: Me and another staff went to meet Carmen for the first time. She was initially presented as observing and focus sitting in the back of the kennel but once we reached out for pets she accepted and then eventually started leaning in for more pets. After we stopped petting she got up and came up to us seeking more pets. Was able to pet her on her head and back. Seems to love head scratches.
