is a young adult neutered male domestic shorthair with striking black-and-white markings and a playful, curious nature. Surrendered by his owner on December 17, Precious is still adjusting to the shelter and can appear nervous and tense in this environment. With time and patience, his true personality shines — a lively cat who loves to prowl, pounce, and engage in play.

Precious enjoys human interaction but becomes stressed during medical handling. These behaviors appear stress-related rather than aggressive. He also has ongoing skin issues with hair loss and will go home on a health waiver so his adopter can continue care with their veterinarian. Precious would do best in a calm home with someone willing to let him decompress at his own pace.
