Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Miss Blaze was born in August 2025 and is a sweet, affectionate cuddle bug. She earned her name from the little blaze of orange fur on the top of her head and the other soft orange patches on her petite body. Blaze enjoys spending time with her foster family and loves playing and snuggling with her many siblings. Some of her favorite toys include colorful spring toys, the cozy cat donut hide (she loves curling up right in the middle), and the automated spinning laser-pointer.
Blaze has had a gentle “wheeze” her entire life and has visited two different veterinarians several times. At first, it seemed like she might have a lingering upper respiratory infection, and she has tried a few antibiotics—so she has become a pro at taking oral medication. Her foster family experimented with different foods in case of allergies, and she even had an endoscopy and a procedure to clear her nasal passages. While the cause of her wheeze is still unknown, it doesn’t slow her down at all. Blaze happily runs, plays, climbs, and wrestles with her siblings just like any other kitten.
Blaze shows her happiness with loud, steady purring—she doesn’t wheeze at all when she purrs! She loves to cuddle and proudly practices her biscuit making skills while snuggling with her foster parents. Blaze is an adorable little love bug who would be thrilled to be adopted with one of her siblings, like Enzo or her friend Levi.
