Lately, Kie has been making the cutest progress—asking for pets more often and discovering just how fun life can be. He’s a big fan of laser pointer playtime and is learning to enjoy the company of other kitties. And when it comes to treats? Let’s just say Temptations are the way straight to his heart (he’s very open to a little snack-based persuasion).
Kie was once adopted and thought he had found his forever home. Sadly, his adopter developed a serious medical condition and could no longer care for him, so through no fault of his own, he was returned. He didn’t understand why his world suddenly changed, and it left him feeling hurt and unsure for a while.
But Kie is stronger than he knows. With patience, love, and maybe a few extra treats, he’s learning to trust again and opening his heart little by little. His favorite place to sleep is a soft, cozy bed—especially if it’s near his person—and we have a feeling that with time, he’ll happily upgrade to being your devoted lap companion.
