Swiper and Dora say hola! This special pair is waiting for someone to give them a chance!

Swiper and Dora were surrendered to us together and they were pretty frightened coming into a new environment. They spent time in foster care to get some time away from the shelter and learn to trust. Now they are still shy at first, but we can also see just how loving they are once they feel comfortable!

Swiper is the more timid of the duo, he seems to take a bit longer than Dora and spends extra time watching her do things. He is a big fan of his blanket fort, and spends a lot of time watching from his cozy hiding spot. When given the time to feel safe, he will slink his way down (with the help of a slow wand toy) and grace you with his handsome presence. Swiper is pretty hand shy, and seems to prefer to rub up against you rather than have you reach out for him.

- Nervous with pets, prefers to pet you instead
