Hi, I’m Kali — a senior girl with a young heart. I may be 8–10 years wise, but I still have so much love (and plenty of muffins!) to share. I’m a chatty, lively lady who adores gentle pets and belly rubs. If you walk into the room, I’ll trot right over to greet you with leg rubs and a happy meow. I’m not the biggest fan of being picked up for long, but I promise I’ll always come find you when I’m ready for affection. I like to think of myself as an independent spirit who still loves companionship. One of my favorite things in the whole world is curling up by a sunny window. I could spend hours soaking up the warmth and watching birds flutter by. If you hear a soft chirp or trill from me, that’s just my way of saying hello before I get back to my birdwatching. And I have a special talent you should know about: I’m an expert muffin maker. When I’m feeling especially happy and safe, I knead with all my heart — it’s my way of showing love. Dirty Little Paws is a non-profit rescue in Southern California. We rescue from kill shelters and from the street, manage feral colonies, and promote TNR (trap, neuter, release). We need your help!
