Meet Pookie, a 6-month-old cloud of white fur who is just as sweet as his name suggests! While his brother Doja is the bold explorer, Pookie is the ultimate "best friend" type--social, affectionate, and always looking for a buddy to snuggle with after a long session of wrestling. He is a high-energy kitten who views every crinkle toy and feather wand as a personal challenge, and he's looking for a family who will embrace his playful spirit. Pookie is particularly bonded with his brother, Doja, and they would love to find a home together where they can keep each other entertained for years to come. We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs because it is so vital for their development. Having a sibling like Doja around means Pookie will always have a partner to practice his "hunting" skills with, which helps him burn off that famous kitten energy and prevents him from getting lonely or mischievous. If Pookie is destined to be your only feline, he'll need a household where someone is home for most of the day to ensure he gets the social interaction and mental workout he needs to grow into a confident adult. Pookie is a social butterfly who would do great in a home with kids over 5 who are ready to play, or even a cat-friendly dog to keep him company. He would be the perfect match for a resident cat who is young and looking for a new partner-in-crime, though he's definitely a bit too energetic for a senior cat who prefers a quiet life. If you're ready for double the white-furred fun, Pookie and Doja are the perfect pair--but even on his own, Pookie is ready to meet you! Pookie's adoption fee is $250.
