A kindhearted resident recently reached out to our rescue about a tiny kitten who had been wandering the city streets, stopping at bodegas, tire shopsanywhere he could find a moment of warmth, a bit of food, or a gentle human. They noticed he seemed injured and was walking abnormally. After speaking with us, we knew we couldnt wait another day. With their help, we were able to bring him to safety, get him medical care, and place him in a loving foster home.
Meet Ares
Despite everything hes been through, Ares has nothing but love to give. The moment you touch him, he melts into you, purring nonstop and soaking up every bit of affection. He truly lives up to his nameAres, the Greek God of Warbecause hes fought so hard to survive life on the streets.
Ares has been diagnosed with Grade 2 bilateral luxating patellas. While this is considered a special need, it does not define him or limit his ability to live a happy, fulfilling life. This condition affects the way he walkshis back knees can occasionally slip out of place, causing a slightly wobbly gait or a brief skipping motion when he moves. At times, he may pause to readjust before continuing on like nothing happened.
Now safe, warm, and surrounded by love, Ares is ready for his forever home. Please consider opening your heart to this incredibly sweet, resilient boy.
