Adorable Paulie hails from Florida, where he was found by a rescuer. He probably has lived in a home previously--he did not get along well outdoors, and got into a few fights. He's really looking forward to his new home! He's got so much personality--he's very chill and confident and he'll greet you with sweet meows when you come home. He enjoys being carried around like a little prince.
Paulie is FeLV negative, and FIV positive. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) affects a cat's immune system, making them slightly more vulnerable to infections. However, with regular vet checkups, a healthy diet, and staying indoors, FIV+ cats thrive just like any other. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, not casual interactions like grooming or sharing food.FIV+ cats do not need special diets or expensive treatments. Regular vet care, indoor living, and love are all they require.
