Paris comes all the way from Azerbaijan, former Soviet Republic where animals are often mistreated or dumped to survive on harsh streets.
Paris is 2 years old, good with other cats, extremely friendly and personable. Very loving! His foster describes him as the perfect balance of playful and cuddly. He'll play with toys, either alone or with you-and he'll cuddle up next to you on the couch or while you work.
Paris is FelV positive, which means he should be an only cat or live with other FelV kitties. He can live a long healthy life with high quality food and some vitamin supplements. We can tell you which ones we recommend.
The shelter staff have the following to say about this gentle and lovely boy:
"When Paris was just a kitten — cold, alone, and hiding under cars with his life in danger — he was rescued by a local animal lover. That person promised, “I’ll adopt him in two weeks…” but never returned. Since then, Paris has waited — hopeful at first, but with each passing day, that hope faded in the corner of a shelter.
Paris should have grown up in the warmth of a home, in someone’s loving arms. But instead, for the past 2 years, he has known only the cold walls of a shelter. He doesn’t know what a real home feels like or what it means to have a person of his own."
Despite his past, Paris is cheerful and loving, with a purr that sounds like a car motor. And a passion for play and snuggles. He is medium energy.
