Onyx Blaze - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

Onyx Blaze is laying in his den, pupils dilated and meowing as the assessor approaches and lifts the den cover. He is initially reluctant to exit his den, poking his head out of the portal exit before ducking back in. After a couple minutes of soft talk, he begins to make biscuits against the den door. He is slowly coaxed out of the den and greets the assessor at the front of the kennel, allowing and leaning into all petting. Onyx Blaze is able to be easily picked up, remaining calm when he is held. When he is placed back into the kennel, he remains at the front and continues to allow and lean into further petting.


Onyx Blaze interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems.
