Sweet Lucy comes all the way from Azerbaijan, former Soviet Republic where animals are often mistreated or dumped to survive on harsh streets. We fly them to the United States so that they can finally have a good home and a bright future.

She was admitted to the shelter six years ago when she was just a kitten. A kind person rescued her at the last moment, just as a car was about to hit her. . Since then, Lucy has been living at the shelter. She now has the chance to come to the U.S. and finally experience a life of comfort in a home of her own with a family she has long deserved.

Lucy is a smart, loving, and independent cat who prefers spending her time up high and enjoying her own space. She loves to play, enjoys her meals on her own, and has beautiful markings along with a truly unique personality. Lucy is FIV positive, so we are looking for a home without other cats, which suits her well, as she naturally thrives as a solo companion.
