Meet GIES!
Gies is a sweet and playful kitten who is learning that life with humans can be safe and full of love. She was rescued right before a winter storm.

She is a healthy kitten who is very food-motivated and will happily show lots of affection when food is involved. Gies is a kitten who is still building confidence with people, and it’s wonderful to watch her trust grow a little more each day. She would thrive in a home that can first offer her a smaller space and allow her to warm up before introducing her to a larger area. With regular human interaction, she will continue to grow more comfortable approaching people on her own.

Gies also learns a lot by watching other cats interact with humans, and that really helps her open up. She enjoys the company of other cats and loves to play with them, so a home with a friendly feline companionh could be a great match for her.

She definitely enjoys touch—she likes cuddling and purrs readily. She just needs a little more time to feel comfortable doing it without the extra encouragement of food.

All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed
