Cone comes all the way from Azerbaijan, former Soviet Republic where animals are often mistreated or dumped to survive on harsh streets. We fly them to the United States so that they can finally have a good home and a bright future.
Meet Cone, a brave cat who was admitted to the shelter as a baby after fighting severe viral infections. He fought hard and survived, but sadly lost one eye along the way. No one knows what happened to him on the streets, how such a tiny kitten ended up alone in the middle of the road or where his mother was.
After growing up in care and receiving treatment, he is now 3 years and 5 months old and ready to leave his days at the shelter behind and to meet the forever family he deserves.
Cone has a very special and heartwarming trait, he shows his love by gently touching his head to other cats, and he has even taught this sweet habit to the other cats at the shelter. He has a gentle and calm personality. Although slightly shy at first, he warms up beautifully and gets along very well with both gentle dogs and other cats. He loves people and truly enjoys human companionship.
Cone doesn’t see himself as different, he sees himself as ready for love and connection.
He is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for adoption.
