Bob comes all the way from Azerbaijan, former Soviet Republic where animals are often mistreated or dumped to survive on harsh streets. We fly them to the United States so that they can finally have a good home and a bright future.
Bob’s past is a testament to resilience. It is believed he was hit by a car and left alone on the streets for a long time. When he finally arrived at the shelter, his injured limb was in a devastating state, dry and lifeless. To save his life, doctors performed an amputation.
But Bob didn’t let that stop him he has overcome incredible pain and emerged with a wagging spirit and a heart full of love. After a long and incredible recovery, he has turned into a healthy, vibrant, and loving soul. Despite having only three legs, he moves through life with grace, confidence, and energy.
Fun fact: Bob gets hilariously excited about mealtime and “shouts” with joy while eating. He truly lives for food and always makes his excitement known.
Bob is currently waiting for his flight to a new life. He is ready to leave his days at the shelter behind and is ready to meet the forever family he deserves.
Bob doesn’t see himself as missing a limb, he sees himself as having more room in his heart for love.
He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
