Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

Beautiful, soft black fur, SLADE is just out of "kitten" statis, but is still young enough to want to play, run, climb, and snuggle until he wears himself out. Then he is a great snuggler. SLADE and his sister Keekee, who is a pretty soft grey kitty, were found in a shed, with apparently no sign of mom.

This handsome little boy is a bit shy at first, but he loves to be petted, and doesn't mind a snuggle, as long as you let him go when he is ready. We do not know how he would be with dogs, cats or children. He is young and should be fine with slow introductions to a non-aggressive dog or cat. The children should be old enough to practice soft touch, no squeezing hugs, and letting go when the kitty wants to be let go. The whole family also needs to understand that most cats freak out if held against their will and they will bite or scratch to get released.

SLADE is a sweet guy who has not known many loving hands but is willing to give living in a cozy home a real try! He and his sister are a beautiful set, and it would be wonderful if they could go to a family who would love to grow old with these sweeties.
