Meet Tatum – Your Velcro Companion and Best Friend
Tatum is our 2‑year‑old boy with a calm, wonderful personality that makes him stand out from the crowd. His sleek, tabby fur is unbelievably soft and silky, and he’s the kind of cat who will happily flop onto his back for belly rubs, rolling around with pure joy and trust. He’ll follow you around the house, chatting in his own way, making you laugh and feel like you’ve got a loyal companion by your side.
Tatum is affectionate to the core. He’s what we lovingly call a “velcro cat”—always close, always wanting to be part of your day. He bonds deeply with his humans, offering comfort, companionship, and endless love. His dog‑like loyalty means he’ll greet you at the door, stick by your side, and remind you that you’re never alone.
Because of his gentle nature and his strong desire to connect, Tatum would make a wonderful emotional support animal. He has that rare gift of sensing when you need comfort, curling up on you or beside you, and offering his soothing presence. Whether you’re having a tough day or celebrating a good one, Tatum will be there, purring his way into your heart.
Looking for your best friend and loyal companion? Tatum is your dude! He’s waiting to meet you and show you just how special life can be with a cat who loves you unconditionally
He is neutered, microchipped, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, and dewormed

Adoptions made easy – we believe finding your new best friend should be a straightforward and rewarding experience without unnecessary hurdles. Let's make adoption easy and give these beautiful kitties the loving homes they deserve.
Texas Rescue Riders adheres to the National No Kill Advocacy Guidelines, promoting conversation-based adoptions and education to ensure a good home.
Your adoption fee helps finance our mission to rescue, transport, and find homes for additional pups and kitties. We aim to alleviate the severe pet overpopulation crisis in South Texas by bringing as many homeless animals as possible to the northern United States.
