Garfield was a mystery when he came to HSU. He had a history of being very shy which is why he was placed in a foster home - MY home! This incredible ginger boy has transformed into a loving, playful kitty! How? We spoiled him rotten with play, love, toys, patience, and a supply of friendly, confident cats.
He's still a work in progress, but in only three weeks, we've glimpsed his wonderful, goofy, sweet, gentle personality.
Garfield would thrive in a quiet home with no children or dogs. He would enjoy the companionship of a friendly cat or two. He's a good eater and reliably uses the litter box. We're so proud of Garfield for trusting us. He deserves a gold medal for "Bravest Cat of the Year!"
