Her name is Nila, and she’s a young female tabby with a soft, silvery-brown coat patterned in delicate stripes that ripple down her sides like brushstrokes. Her fur is plush and well-kept despite her time in the shelter, and when the light catches it, there’s a warm glow beneath the stripes. A small “M” marks her forehead, as if nature signed her sweet little face.
Nila’s eyes are a bright, hopeful green—wide, curious, and full of quiet questions. They follow every movement in the room, not with fear, but with gentle anticipation. There’s a sweetness in her gaze that makes it feel like she’s already decided to trust you; she just needs you to decide the same.
She stays close to her brother, brushing against him for comfort, the two of them often curled together in a striped bundle of purring reassurance. While he may be a bit bolder, Nila has a tender, affectionate nature—she’ll step forward slowly, sniff your fingers politely, and then lean in for the softest head bump once she feels safe.
Nila isn’t just looking for a house. She’s looking for a sunny windowsill, a warm lap, and someone who will see past the shelter walls into those bright green eyes and recognize a lifelong companion waiting to come home.
She is already rabies vaccinated and has already been spayed.
