Hello, and Happy 4th of July! We are MAMA CAPRESE & MAMA AMBROSIA & THE SALAD BABIES! Oh yes, we have quite the story! Back in April, the seven of us were found in boxes on the side of Hartman Rd in Lebanon, TN. Please don't let our kitten's eyes scare you, because you should have seen them when we arrived to True Rescue. Our babies were in horrific shape, and thanks to the love and dedication of our foster mama, Beth, and her daughters, we were able to sit for these lovely pictures today, and are thankful that it was only some eyes that were lost and not lives. The vets that have looked at the bad eyes have said that as long as they don't pose any problems, they don't need to be removed right away, if at all, and trust us mamas, our kittens don't act like they are missing eyes!
Our babies now reside in a room at the shelter called Sunnyside, and you can go by any day of the week, including today, to adopt them between the hours of 11-3. Us mamas are still in foster until we can get spayed, so we are not available yet, but can be pre-adopted. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for supporting this rescue that took us in at a minute's notice and got us into a loving, safe situation. Not all people are nice, but the people around here sure are! Have a wonderful holiday, and come on out and visit or adopt, if you are so inclined!
