Meet Peanut! This lovely 5-year-old girl is looking for a new home. She was recently relinquished by her owner to NAWS because she was stressed by the several other cats in the home. She is hopeful to find a loving home that will be a better fit.

Peanut is an affectionate and outgoing cat to people - she will build a strong bond with her adopters. She was a lap cat in her previous home and would sleep in bed with her owner. She craves a lot of attention and is confident and friendly with new people - she will immediately make herself at home in their laps too! Peanut loves to be talked to and will affectionately rub against you to show her appreciation for some love. Pets on her head are her favorite - she would prefer you don't pet her butt or belly!

Peanut is playful and likes toys. She has a rainbow caterpillar that she loves to carry around. She likes to sunbathe. She can get a bit overstimulated while playing or being pet, so a home without small children would be best. She was stressed in her previous home around the several other cats and would then show aggressive/territorial behavior. To let her live her best life, Peanut's ideal home would be one where she can receive a ton of attention and affection and one where she doesn't have to compete with other cats. She has so much love to share and will thrive in the right home.
