If you are looking for a big guy with an even bigger heart, Kurt is the cat for you. This 7-year-old handsome brown tabby is looking for his people after being returned to NAWS through no fault of his own. The stress of a household with several other cats was too much for this gentle giant, and since Kurt struggled in his previous home with other cats, he will need adopters who are willing to work with him to be the best version of himself. He is still learning to trust our kitties at NAWS, but he is doing well and cannot wait to be out and about in a home of his own for truly forever this time.

During the time Kurt spent with his former family, he was described as “friendly, confident, affectionate, and cuddly.” He likes to be brushed and enjoys spending time in his cat tree or hanging with his people on the couch. This lap cat just wants a safe place to land after his world has been upended. He was adopted as a kitten, so we can’t imagine what this change has been like for him after losing the only home he has ever known. Since he arrived, he has enjoyed meeting the volunteers. He chats them up with his sweet tiny meow. He can rest all day on the top of the cat tree, watching the happenings of the shelter.
