Meet Brooklyn and Ajna! These two girlies have been let down by their families in the past and we are hoping this time in a forever home is truly forever this time.

Brooklyn and Ajna would make the perfect pair to bring home. They are such loving girls, who are easy to fall in love with. Just spend a little bit of time with them, and you will quickly realize why you need them in your life.

Brooklyn, the Chatty Cathy with the orange nose, is nearly 6 years old. She was adopted in 2020 and relinquished to NAWS in late 2025 with her pal, Ajna. Luckily for these two, they were adopted right before Christmas but unfortunately returned again just last week. We know Brooklyn is a good girl who has been let down because of circumstances outside of her control. She is truly so loving and wants to tell everyone she meets everything about her day. She is very comfortable around people and would make a wonderful companion for whoever gives her a chance…and a comfy bed to lounge in.

Ajna, who turned 3 years old in November, has turned this misfortune into an opportunity. When she first came to NAWS with Brooklyn, she was timid and scared, even letting us know she wanted her space with a hiss here and there. She used to hang back and let Brooklyn take the spotlight. Not anymore! Now, this girlie is opening up. She will come up to volunteers, looking for attention and affection. Just open her cage doors, and she will rub her head against them, leaning out for pets and chin scratches, which are clearly the way to her heart. She is not going to let another chance to be in a home forever slip by this time. She is ready to make this one last.

Brooklyn and Ajna have overcome obstacles that would dim the light of even the most resilient cats and even people. We hope their forever family comes soon so they don’t let being in the shelter get to them. They are friendly, loving, and beautiful. Please give them the chance they deserve. You will not be disappointed!
