We are looking for a compassionate and special adopter for this precious girl, Arya. She has some special needs that her adopter must be comfortable with. To us, she’s worth the work, time, patience, and some vet visits that will be required, at least during her first year of life.
Arya came to Naws after being found in the middle of the street with her sister. She was screaming in pain. Why? We aren’t sure. No broken bones. Neurological? Maybe.
She is on phenobarbital for seizures. We are not exactly sure what caused them. Her foster stated that she has not seen her have a seizure for about 3 months now, but Arya’s neurologist wants her to stay on the medicine for at least a year before she’ll consider weaning her off them.
Arya needed some understanding - she does not like using the litter box and we have not been able to determine why. Her foster places her in it at strategic times as it’s very obvious when she has to go. She also seems to like potty pads. This will take persistence and training by her adopter.
We are hopeful that Arya’s special person is out there - she needs a hero. She is a fun little kitten that is quite a character. She will growl like a dog (she was raised with them) but is fine being held like a baby. She would do best with another cat and is great with dogs. Please help us find her forever home - she is worth it and didn’t ask for this life.
