Sally came to us with her 5 other siblings and mama. Their owner requested intake and we agreed as long as they allowed us to spay mom too. =) Sally can be a bit of a feisty kitten as most torties are. At one point, she started to lose weight so she ended up smaller than her siblings. Thankfully, a short medical regimen cleared up the issue and she is gaining weight well again. Sally loves to play and is up for snuggles on her terms. We have not seen them around dogs, however, they are young enough that we feel they could acclimate so long as they had areas to get up away from dogs. With proper and slower introduction into the home to other cats, Sally should do just fine as she has been living around other cats since a young kitten. She has been around children as young as 5yo with appropriate interactions. To adopt; tinyurl.com/AELAdoptionSquadOur adoption process is simple, relationship-centered, and provides supportive education. You can expect your adoption interest to go like this:
1. Submit your electronic form
2. An AEL representative will contact you to schedule a phone call or adoption counsel session.
3. Come to your adoption counsel session to meet the pet you're interested in and ready to take them home with you (dependent on the pet, some need more than one meet)
4. If the pet is determined to be a good fit with your family by both you and the AEL representative, you will sign your contract, submit your adoption payment, and take your new friend home!
