Hey... I'm Smokey.

I'm a 1-year-old, all-gray (some say quite handsome) gentleman with a soft coat and an even softer heart—once you get to know me.

Let's get one thing straight though... manners matter.
If you're meeting me for the first time, I expect a proper introduction. That means giving me a moment to sniff and say hello on my terms. No rushing, no grabbing—just a little respect, please. I promise, it goes a long way.

You see, when people come on too strong, I can get a bit shy. I know, I know... it might surprise you for a big, solid guy like me (I've got a sturdy 11.5 lbs to back me up ). But underneath it all, I'm just a sweet, sensitive boy who appreciates a calm and thoughtful approach.

Once we're properly introduced? That's when the real me comes out.

I love chasing catnip mice, soaking up chin rubs, and hanging out with my people in a relaxed, easygoing way. I'm not complicated—I just need someone who understands that trust is built, not rushed.

What I'm looking for:


A calm, respectful human who knows how to read a cat's cues
A home that will let me settle in at my own pace
Plenty of toys (especially the catnip kind... just saying)
