Mouse is a one-year-old, snuggly and energetic guy looking for his forever home. This playful boy still has plenty of kitten energy and loves filling his day with fun. You will often find him chasing toys, racing around the house, enjoying treats, or stretching out for a cozy nap. He also loves lounging in sunny spots, watching critters through the window, and soaking up attention from his humans. Mouse is very affectionate and enjoys being pet and doted on. He is a cuddler who likes to hang out nearby, especially if you are working from home.
Mouse currently lives in a foster home with a human who works from home and several other cats of different ages and personalities. He enjoys playtime and activity, and he seems to appreciate having vertical spaces to explore and perch on. He has also recently discovered the kitchen counter and finds it quite interesting.
Mouse would do best in a home where his people can give him plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment to match his high energy personality. He could live with other cats, though he will need a slow introduction. He may be a little hissy at first as he adjusts, but he is not aggressive. With patience, he settles in well and will eat and play alongside other cats, even if he prefers not to snuggle with them.
Mouse is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life! Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, FIV positive cats are able to live with FIV negative cats in stable social environments. Mouse is a fun, lively kitty with lots of love and personality to share. If you are looking for a playful companion who will keep you entertained and curl up beside you at the end of the day, Mouse might be the perfect match!
