Meet Asher & Birdie - 4.5-month-old beauties!

Asher is the most handsome boy with his soft grey fur and gorgeous green eyes! Asher is filled with curiosity and is eager to explore, unless he's napping, which of course is a full-commitment activity. Asher loves a good wand toy but doesn't feel the need to overpower his sister, per se, and will play fairly. He thinks he's chatting with you, but all that really comes out is a teeny tiny squeak, which is about enough to make your heart burst on its own. Asher loves being told he's cute, will purr quickly and easily, and when he wants pets will follow you around asking for them on his tiptoes with little headbutts.

Birdie is the most petite little lady with tiny feetsies, sleek black fur, and intelligent golden eyes. She's certainly always assessing what's going on, and she is not one to be fooled by much. We love a strong lady! She is incredibly quick with wand toys, and once she gets going, it's very impressive! Birdie is not one who is comfortable with strangers and, in true cat form, is absolutely going to make her family earn her love and respect. There's not a mean bone in her body; she just needs to know she's safe, loved, that her boundaries are respected, and that she can enjoy the consistency of a positive home. Once she decides this, she will tentatively walk up and tip her head sideways as if giving clear permission for pets, arching her back as high as it goes for those perfect back scritches! Her foster thinks she will bond very strongly with her furever family, and it will be a special kind of love.

Asher & Birdie are friendly to their people but take time to get comfortable with new people, particularly Birdie, who would love those special people to know, you've gotta earn it ;-). They are good with other cats with proper introductions. Young children would be too much, as they are used to very quiet homes, but potential homes with kids age 13+ or no kids would be ideal.

These two will have their furever people smiling every single day as they grow their bond and mostly just want to absorb all the love, scritchies, snuggles, and playtime that comes with a person or family of their own!

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
