Michael Phelps, unlike his namesake, isn’t the strongest of swimmers. Found treading water after being sucked into a pool filter, little Michael is looking for a dry, warm home where the extracurriculars only include land-based sports.

Michael is playful, cuddly, and food motivated. He loves giving hugs and kisses just as much as he enjoys receiving them. After burning off some kitten energy, he really likes to nap in laps.

In addition to being found inside a pool filter, little Michael also had a warble (lump caused from botfly larvae) on his neck. The insect was removed and the site is healing well.

Michael is estimated to be four months old and has a sister, Baby Mouse, who is a bit more reserved. They would prefer to be adopted together and are currently in a foster home near Petsmart Collegeville.
