Emily was originally rescued from the Tipton County Animal Shelter and it's been a true pleasure to help her thrive! If you are looking for a lovely, refined friend who has graduated from the "kitten crazies" and is ready to be your right-hand girl, Emily is waiting for you!

Emily is in that wonderful "sweet spot" of adulthood (our vet estimates that she is 5-6 years old). She is past the age of climbing your curtains or nibbling your toes at 3:00 AM. Instead, she is focused on the finer things in life: a sunbeam, a soft head scratch, and your company.

She is a friendly, social companion who truly enjoys being near her person. However, she isn't "velcro" cat! Emily is independent enough to enjoy her own space, making her the perfect match for someone who appreciates a cat that can entertain herself while you’re busy, only to greet you with a soft purr when you’re ready to relax.
