Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption

1-year-old Nucleus was found as a stray and brought to us by one of our rescuers. Here at the Shelter, he has been a bit nervous with people. He is looking for a home with adopters who can give him plenty of time to decompress. He previously lived in a foster home with other cats so may benefit from a home with a confident, social feline friend.

If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting.

If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
