Meet Tuxie — a strikingly beautiful brown tabby and white Domestic Short Hair mix with the most lovely green eyes and a coat that makes her one of the most striking cats at the shelter. This elegant 4-year-old girl was found as a stray on April 8th with no one to come forward for her, and she has been waiting in Kennel #614 ever since for someone to recognize just how special she truly is.
 
At 4 years old Tuxie is in the absolute prime of her life — calm, fully grown, and ready to walk straight into a loving home and become someone's most devoted companion from day one. She is FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of her vaccines, and she will be spayed prior to adoption — perfectly healthy and completely ready for the forever home she so deserves.
 
Tuxie came in off the streets with no one to speak for her, and yet here she is — beautiful, healthy, and full of love just waiting to be given to the right person. How a cat this lovely ended up without a home is one of shelter life's great mysteries, but the good news is that her story is far from over and the best chapter is still waiting to be written.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
