Cosmos is a twelve-week-old black and white Domestic Shorthair kitten with bold black markings, a white blaze down his nose, and a pair of enormous round golden eyes so wide and full of wonder that they look like they belong to a cat twice his size. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 30th and this extraordinary little boy has been stopping people in their tracks ever since. At just under 3 lbs he is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand - but those eyes make him impossible to overlook.

Cosmos is neutered and FIV/FeLV negative, ready in every way for the home he deserves. At twelve weeks old he is right at the perfect age to come home and bond deeply with a new family - curious, playful, and just beginning to discover how wonderful the world can be. That striking black and white face and those luminous golden eyes make him one of the most visually captivating kittens in the shelter.

There is something almost otherworldly about a kitten with eyes like Cosmos has - wide open, taking in everything, full of the kind of pure wonder that only exists at the very beginning of life. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
