Alvin is a handsome brown tabby and white boy with rich, warm striping, bright amber eyes, and an alert, engaged expression that makes him instantly endearing. He arrived at Cobb Animal Services on July 3rd, and at 6 months old, this playful young man still has real growing to do - he is expected to reach an adult weight of about 10 to 11 pounds as he matures.

Alvin is house trained, good with children, dog friendly, and cat friendly, giving him the flexibility to fit beautifully into all kinds of households. He is up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, and will be neutered prior to adoption, so he is fully prepared for his next home.

Alvin traveled to the shelter with his brother Theodore, and the bond between the two has been a steady thread through their time here. Their easy companionship makes a strong case for keeping them together, and adopters are warmly encouraged to consider welcoming both brothers into their home.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
