Meet Verano — a striking black panther on the outside, purr machine on the inside! This 2–3-year-old sweetheart was once a stray, found while being trapped during a search for a lost cat, but you would never guess it from his mellow, trusting nature. Verano is friendly, social, and generous with his love. You can count on him to happily greet you for pets, offering sweet head bonks with a steady purr.

Verano would love to find a relaxed home where he can explore, spend time with his people, and relax in cozy window spots watching the birds and soaking up some sun. While Verano is a very friendly boy, he will need a bit of time and space to adjust to his new surroundings. He would be happiest in a quieter home without children, though he is friendly with his shelter pals and could enjoy the company of another cat buddy. Verano has no health concerns and is a pro at using his litter box.

Verano has left his life as a stray far behind him and is ready to give his whole heart to a furrever family of his own. Just one head bonk and the soft rumble of his purr will have you wrapped around his paw in no time!
