According to his foster, Peep has made wonderful progress over the past few weeks. Since arriving he has slowly but surely started to come out of his shell. He now feels comfortable spending time out in the room, playing with pipe cleaners, catnip toys, and feather wands - and he's even paused for a few photo ops!
Peep has grown much more at ease with handling. He no longer hisses when being picked up from his kennel and will relax nearby, sometimes settling just a few feet away for a nap. When held, he offers sweet purrs, though he currently prefers shorter cuddle sessions.
He's also showing interest in other cats, often approaching his foster's older cat through a glass door. We think he may enjoy having a feline friend in his forever home!
At night, Peep likes to explore but often returns to his cozy box on the top shelf of his kennel to sleep - a reminder that he still appreciates having a safe space of his own.
Peep is a gentle, sensitive boy who continues to build confidence each day. With patience and love, we know he will keep blossoming.
