Nora - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Los Angeles, California

Meet Nora, a sleek black beauty with striking green eyes and a slim elegant build. Her black fur is scattered with white hairs! She is a clever girl who knows exactly who she is & will come running when she hears her name. Nora is a curious girl & has a sense of wonder. One of her favorite activities is helping herself to a refreshing drink straight from the bathroom faucet!

Nora absolutely loves ear scratches & will jump on your lap for a few minutes to remind you it is time for attention. She will follow you around to make sure you are ok. She wants to be close to you, like a shadow. She has a vibrant active energy level. Because she can play a little roughly with other cats, she would do best in a home with another energetic cat who can stand up to her play style.

Nora is currently managing Chronic Kidney Disease. While her veterinarian estimates her remaining lifespan at about 2 years, it could be longer. Nora is ready to live her very best life right now. Her medical routine is easy - I try to feed her renal wet food. On days when she is not in the mood for renal food, I give her regular wet cat food with a phosphorus binder sprinkled in it. She does need regular monitoring by a vet with bloodwork every 3-6 months.

Nora needs a true rescue hero. She was living on the streets & gave birth to 5 kittens. Once she was rescued, her kidney disease was discovered.
