Meet Fendi, a stunning smoke-gray gentleman with a secret white undercoat and an even more secret soft side.

Fendi came to us heartbroken. His previous owner loved him and raised him from the time he was a kitten until his third birthday, but surrendered him due to a new allergic human in the family. When he first arrived, he was slow to warm up. Then one night about three weeks into his new life with his foster family, he climbed onto his foster dad's chest and just stayed, purring and making biscuits all night long.

He's since blossomed into a full-on Velcro cat, though he does seem to have a type. Fendi seems to have a special bond with the men in his life, which makes sense given that his previous owner was also a guy. He does well with his foster mom, asking for scratches and cuddles, but is especially attached to his foster dad, staying glued to his chest all night long.

He's still shy around new people and startles easily, but he loves to explore on his own terms, exploring the house in the quiet hours of the night like the curious, independent spirit he is.

As for fellow pets: Fendi does best as either an only cat, or with younger, easygoing cats. He likely will not be great with older/ grumpy or dominant cats, like his current foster brother. He can share space with a calm dog, though he prefers to keep his distance.

Fendi would thrive with a patient, quiet family, who will let him come to them. When he does, you've got a velcro kitty for life!
