Nugget is a truly special little boy whose story is one of incredible resilience and transformation. His life began in heartbreaking circumstances—confined 24/7 in a hoarder’s home, living in a cramped double-layer ferret cage with eight other kittens. Food and cleaning came only once a week, and Nugget never knew what freedom, comfort, or kindness felt like.

Thankfully, Nugget and two of his siblings were safely snuck out and brought to rescue. When he first arrived in foster care, he was shy and tense, unsure how to respond to even the gentlest touch. But with patience, safety, regular meals, and a clean litter box, something beautiful happened.

In just a couple of weeks, Nugget began to trust.

Today, you would never recognize that scared little kitten. Nugget has made a complete transformation into the sweetest, most playful, affectionate boy you could imagine. His personality is full of joy and curiosity, and the trust he now gives is truly special—hard-earned and deeply meaningful.

Nugget isn’t just looking for a home. He’s looking for his person—a best friend who will cherish him, protect him, and give him the love he has always deserved.
